DECATUR -- Dona Shepard, 87, a Homemaker and a Beloved Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, died, Wednesday, May 2, 2007 in Decatur.
Funeral: 2 pm at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home. Rick Ross and Ronnie Hess will officiate. Burial: Paradise Cemetery. Visitation: 6-8 Friday, May 4, 2007 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
She was born in Paradise. Parents were Joseph Luther Fitzgerald and Callie Crawford. Dona married Ollie V. Shepard, November 20, 1942, in Grandfield, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Decatur Church of Christ.
Survivors: Son, Bobby Shepard of the Woodlands; daughter, Callie Slagle and husband William of Decatur; brother, J.L. Fitzgerald of Bridgeport; sister, Pauline Shannon of Paradise; grandchildren, Sarah, Lara, Jennifer, Holly, Robert Bryan, 10 great-grand children. Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Decatur (940) 627-5959
