Don W. Tibbets

Don W. Tibbets, 75, passed away October 14, 2021, in Clovis, New Mexico. A Memorial Service will be held October 23, 10:00A.M. at the Jal Country Club, 1001 N. 3rd Street in Jal, New Mexico.

Graveside Service is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at Alvord Cemetery.

Don was born December 30, 1945, to the home of Earnest & Rachael Tibbets in Bridgeport, Texas. He loved going fishing, hunting, and trap shooting. Don also loved spending his spare time with family & friends.

Don is survived by his wife of over 20 years; Devra Tibbets, 3 stepsons: Clay (Valerie) Post of Lubbock Texas, Jesse (Misty) Post of Houston Texas, Bill (Melanie) Post of Germany, his brother; Phil (Marilyn) Tibbets of Yantis Texas, 2 nephews: Bret Tibbets (Melanie) of McAllen Texas, & Bart (Monica) of El Paso Texas, 3 sister in-laws: Doris Bolton, Donis Bouldin, & Karen Gonser, 4 grandchildren: Kylie Post, Kaylee (Max) Partin, & Jonah Post, Liam Post, and several great nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Earnest and Rachael Tibbets.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the New Mexico Christian Children's Home, 1356 NM-236, Portales, New Mexico.
