Dickie Clayton Simpson

Decatur~ Dickie Clayton Simpson, 90, went to be with our Lord Sunday, January 12th, 2020 in Decatur.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 25, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in West Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Pallbearers will be Mike Floyd, Donnie Koger, Benny Koger, Bennie Koger, Mikey Thomas, and Justin West.

Dickie was born on January 1, 1930 to Charley and Minnie Lee (Roberts) Simpson in Decatur, Texas. She was a Homemaker with a flourishing family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren, Chris Fry and Allen Motley; her brothers, Bill Simpson, Allen Simpson, and Harry Simpson; and her sisters, Stella Mae Waldrop and Janie Burk.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Annalee Fry and husband Mike Floyd of Fort Worth, and Linda Motley of Bridgeport; her son, Robert Taylor of Arkansas; her 7 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grand child; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
