Diana Ketchum

Diana Ketchum, 49, of Decatur, Tx passed on to her heavenly reward on Wednesday, February 11, 2026. Born on July 1, 1976, Diana lived a life rooted in faith and devotion.

She was the loving wife of her husband Jayson and a very devoted mother to her daughter Sidney and son-in-law Geovanni Arcos. Embracing the nickname “Ga Ga” with pride and joy, she was a cherished grandmother to Braxton, Jaxson, Gydeon, and Sophia. Diana is also remembered by her father, Fred Tynes. She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, Janett Sloan and brother Joseph Tynes.

Diana’s Faith was the foundation of her life. As an active member of Cornerstone Apostolic Church of Decatur, she was a prayer warrior among the congregation. Her prayer closet served as sacred space - a place for reflection and communion with God that brought her strength and serenity. To Diana, church was more than a place of worship; it was home.

Her creativity brought warmth and brightness to everyday life. She found joy in sewing, exploring thrift shops with her husband Jayson for hidden treasures, and working with the ladies of the church. Quiet moments were spent reading her Bible or reflecting alone revealing the depth of her walk with God and source of her joy.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on February 18, 2026 from 5 pm to 7 pm at Cornerstone Apostolic Church, 2612 N Trinity Street, Decatur, Texas. A funeral service will follow on February 19, 2026 at 10 am at the same location. A graveside service at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur will immediately follow.
