Deryl Wayne Wilson

Deryl Wayne Wilson, 70, passed from this earth Monday, December 30, 2024.

Graveside Service is 10:30 a.m. Friday, January 3rd at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6-8:00 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Deryl was born December 1st, 1954 to Jesse Wayne and Margie Ruth (White) Wilson in Decatur, Texas. He was a Decatur High School graduate, attended college for a bit. Deryl was a lifelong Dairy Farmer, doing what he loved. He was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Margie Wilson.

Those left to cherish his memory are his brother, Gary Wilson and wife Debra of Decatur; his niece, Randi Eyster and husband Randy of Paradise; his nephew, Clint Wilson and wife Natalie of Decatur; extended family and a host of friends.
