Derestine Rohus

Bowie ~ Derestine Rohus, 93, went home to be with our Lord Saturday, April 4, 2020 in Bowie.

Memorial will be held at a future date.

Derestine was born on December 31, 1926 in Henrietta, Texas to William Russel and Hattie (Phillips) Hipp. She was united in marriage to Paul Granson Rohus on June 1st. Derestine was a homemaker, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paul Rohus; her daughter, Paula Rohus; 3 brothers, Darrell, Harold, and Louie Hipp.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Debbie Strittmatter and husband Clem of Bowie; 2 grandchildren, Derek Pryor and wife Elaine of Bridgeport and Bryan Strittmatter and wife Angela of White Settlement; 3 great-grandchildren, Bogie Pryor, Garrett Alan Strittmatter, and Grace Elizabeth Strittmatter; 2 great-great-grandchildren, Camden and Aubree; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
