Delois (Forsyth) Coursey

Bridgeport ~ Delois Forsyth Coursey, 78, a retired massage therapist, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, December 23, 2014 in Springtown.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Thomas Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Rev. Gary Sessions will officiate.
Delois was born on July 7, 1936 to Dewey and Viola (Moore) Forsyth in Park Springs. She was married to Charles Kennedy Sr. March 28, 1953 in Bowie and he preceded her in death. She was united in marriage to Jimmy Coursey on July 26, 1997 in Weatherford. He also preceded her in death on September 10, 2001. Delois was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Charles Kennedy Sr.; her husband, Jimmy Coursey; and her sister, Virginia Dennis.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Charles “Chuck” Kennedy of Springtown, David Kennedy of Springtown; her grandchildren, Michelle and husband Daniel, Adam and wife Tasha, Melody and husband Ryan, Amy, Daniel and wife Nicole; 4 great-grandchildren; her sister, Marie Love of Bridgeport; several nieces, nephews, other family members, and a host of friends.
