Debra Kay Howard

Bridgeport ~ Debra Kay Howard, 63, went to be with our Lord on Friday, July 9, 2021 in Bridgeport.

Family to receive friends at visitation 6-8 PM Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Debra was born March 5, 1958 to John Charles and Mary Louise (Keener) Hardee in Jacksboro, Texas. She was a LVN and worked in the nursing industry for many years. Debra was united in marriage to Jerry Keith Howard on June 2, 2007 in Decatur.  She was a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Jerry Howard of Bridgeport; her children, Ben Whatley of Newark and Billy Whatley of Bridgeport; her granddaughter, Violet Avery Marie Whatley; 2 sisters, Nancy McKinley and husband Joe Mark of Graham and Shannon Hardee of Chico; her nephews, John Huckabee, Justin, Dustin, Devon, and Jace Hardee; numerous extended family and good friends.
