BOYD ~ Deborah Carol Thompson Zorns, 65, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord on Friday, December 5, 2014 in Boyd.
Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Boyd Church of Christ with burial in Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Boyd Church of Christ.
Bro. Mark Taylor will officiate. Pallbearers include Aaron Shanor, Nathan Shanor, John Paul Thompson, Mike Hays, Ronnie Smith and Stephen Horn. Honorary pallbearers are Clyde Slimp, Dale Hodgkins, Gene Dilleshaw, Ronnie White, Clint Sanderson and Bill Kidd.
Deborah was born on January 1, 1949 to Delbert and Carmella (Price) Thompson in Kingsville, Texas. She was united in marriage to Harold Mike Zorns on August 7, 1971 in Boyd. Deborah was a member of the Boyd Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Paula Doyle.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 43 years, Mike Zorns of Boyd; her son, Robert Zorns of Boulder, Colorado; her daughter, Rebecca Parr and husband Doug of Boyd; her grandchildren, Aubrey, Curran and Weston; her brother, Stephen Thompson and wife Jennifer of Azle; her sisters, Sandy Shanor of Azle and Pam Horn and husband Stephen of Plano; other family members; special friend, Darlene Tatum and a host of other special friends.
