Dean Anthony Bible, Sr.

Decatur ~ Dean Bible, Sr., 58, went to be with our Lord Friday, July 30, 2021 in Ft.Worth, Texas.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Bo Johnson will officiate.

Dean was born February 26, 1963 to Charles and Louis Jean (Jackson) Bible, Jr. He graduated Decatur High School and was a retired heavy equipment operator in the construction industry for many years. Dean was a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Bible, Jr.; and his sister, Debbie Bible.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Candice Vega and husband Jose of Decatur; his sons, Dean Bible, Jr. and wife Tina of Runaway Bay,  Desmon Bible and significant other, Whitney of Decatur; 5 grandchildren, Aidan Cagle, Ethan Cagle, Vincent Vega, Desirae Bible, and Chaston Bible; his mother, Louis Jean Bible of Decatur; best friend, and partner, Connie Duley; 3 sisters, Darlene Pryor and husband Larry, Dr. Darenda Kirby and husband Delbert, and DeAnna Delgado and husband Luis; his brother, DaLane Bible and wife Tessa; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.
