Graveside service is 2 p.m. Friday, February 19th at Perryman Cemetery with Reverend Jim Dean officiating.
David was born March 24, 1930 in Bennettsville, South Carolina to Frederick Selton and Doris Samson Wheeler. He married Anne Holden on May 24, 1980 in Douglas County, Winchester Bay, Oregan.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 29 years, Ann Wheeler or Decatur; seven sons; two daughters, 12 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
David is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, one sister and one son.
