Darrell Lane Johnson

Newark ~ Darrell Lane Johnson, 67, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, October 1, 2024 in Fort Worth.

Darrell was born on June 21, 1957 to Everett and Maggie Jean (Rochelle) Johnson in Abernathy, Texas. He was united in marriage to Marie Sherwood on February 18, 2010 at Family Worship Center in Newark. Darrell worked for the oil field and the mobile home industries for several years. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, and a friend to many that will miss him dearly.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 14 years, Marie Johnson of Newark; his children, Sam Johnson of Waco, Teresa Vaughn and husband Jerry of Boyd, and Jason Adams and wife Shannon of Justin; his brothers, Doyle Johnson and Dennis Johnson; his sister, Barbie Warren; other relatives and a host of friends.
