Danny Melvin Collins

Danny Collins, 77, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, December 12, 2023.

Graveside Service is 11:30 a.m. Saturday, December 16, 2023 at Cottonwood Cemetery with family receiving friends 10-11:00 a.m. before the service at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Danny was born June 10, 1946 to Archie Melvin and Franes Ann (Fluker) Collins in Corsicana, Texas. He was a retired Respiratory Therapist after many years in the health industry. Danny was a beloved brother, uncle, cousin and friend to many who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Archie and Frances Collins.

Those left behind to cherish his name are his brother, Russell Collins and wife Debra of Grand Saline; his sister, Kimberly Collins of Grand Saline; several nieces, nephews, extended family members and a host of friends.
