Decatur ~ Dalta Anita Weems, 74, went from this earth Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Dalta was born February 11, 1949 to Dalton and Eddie Fay (Caroll) Webb in Stephenville, Texas. She was united in marriage February 2, 1973 to Joseph Lee Weems in Arlington, Texas. Dalta was a teacher for many years before retiring. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of over 50 years, Joseph Weems of Decatur; her sons, Dalton Weems and wife Amanda of Decatur, and Rez Weems of Ft. Worth; her granddaughter, Aleena Weems of Decatur; 2 brothers, Spencer Webb of Arlington, and Don Webb and wife Shannon of Sunnyvale; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
