Mountain View, Oklahoma ~ Dale Edward Gilliam Jr, 57, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, May 20, 2014 in Dallas.
Memorial Service is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 24, 2014 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Decatur.
Nolan Warner will officiate.
Dale was born on May 12, 1957 to Dale Edward Sr. and Janice (Shelton) Gilliam in Tyler, Texas. He married Diane Looney on March 20, 1991 and they were married 18 years till her passing in 2009. Dale was in law enforcement. He served in the U.S. Air Force as a law enforcement specialist. He received the Air Force good conduct medal and longevity service award.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Edward Gilliam Sr.; and wife, Diane Looney.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Dale Gilliam III and wife Rachel of Dallas, his daughter, Dawn Keller and husband Thomas of Decatur; his son Denton Gilliam and wife Dana of Paradise; his grandson, Cameron Keller of Decatur; his mother, Janice Mulanax of Fort Worth; his brothers, Glen Gilliam and wife Tracie, Barry Dunn and wife Margie, and Gene Gilliam and wife Amy; his sisters, Stacie Debellis and husband Mike, and Sylvia Hallerman and husband Clint; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
