Dale Ray Childers

Decatur ~ Dale Ray Childers, 62, went to be with our Lord Monday, June 11, 2018 in Decatur.

Graveside service is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 7-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Marvin Saunders will officiate.

Dale was born on December 5, 1955 to Tommy and Dorthy (Gotcher) Childers in Decatur, Texas. He was a farmer. Dale was a member of the Baptist Church.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his mother, Dorthy Childers of Decatur; his brother, Mike Childers and wife Chari of Decatur; his nieces, Kristol Gardner and husband Matt of Electra, Kendall Childers of Decatur; his aunts, Cynthia Weaver of Decatur, Joyce McDaniel of Decatur; his Long Time Best Friend, D’Ann Little of Decatur and a host of cousins, extended family and friends.

Donations may be made to Oaklawn Cemetery and Sweetwater Cemetery.
