Decatur ~ Ma. Cristina Martinez, 39, a housewife, went to be with our Lord Saturday, October 10, 2015 in Dallas.
Funeral service is 1:00 p.m. Thursday, October 15, 2015, at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church in Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery in Decatur, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home with a rosary at 7:00 p.m.
Rev. Thomas Dsouza will officiate. Pallbearers include Feliciano Martinez, Hector Fernandez, Armando Fernandez, Roberto Fernandez, Fernando Fernandez, and Valente Fernandez.
Cristina was born on July 6, 1976 to Aucensio and Natalia (Carrillo) Fernandez in Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico. She was united in marriage to Feliciano Martinez March 23, 2002 in Jerez, Zacatecas, Mexico.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 13 years, Feliciano Martinez of Decatur; her sons, Daniel and Omar Martinez; her daughter, Lesly Martinez; her parents, Aucensio and Natalia Fernandez; numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and cousins and a host of friends.
