Corky Mcconnell

Decatur ~ Corky McConnell, 78, went to be with our Lord Saturday, December 15, 2018, in Decatur.

Graveside service is 9:30 a.m. Friday, December 21, 2018 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.

Corky was born on November 25, 1940, to Reed and Juanita McConnell in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was a retired accountant. Corky proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

H e was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Jeanie McConnell.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Marilyn Belew of Decatur, Nancy McConnell of Boston, Massachusetts; his grandsons, Zachary Belew of Austin, Alec Johnson of Keller; his brother, Michael McConnell of Corinth; numerous extended family; and a host of friends.
