Connie Marie Malek, 75, of Paradise went to be with her Lord Monday, March 30, 2026 in Denton, Texas.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 6th, 2026 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Decatur with burial at Megargel Cemetery in Megargel, Texas. Family will receive friends 5-7:00 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with Rosary at 6:00 p.m.
Connie was born October 31st, 1950 to August John and Cecilia Mary (Marek) Gallia in Waco, Texas. She was united in marriage September 13th, 1980 to Edwin William Malek in Dallas, Texas. Connie and her husband Edwin were active in The Knights of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, August and Cecilia Gallia.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband of over 45 years, Edwin Malek of Paradise; her children, Eric and Angela.
