New Castle ~ Connie Jean (Suter) Jones, 68, a homemaker went to be with our Lord Sunday, June 15, 2014 in Graham.
Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Jonestown Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Louis Horton will officiate. Pallbearers include Kenny Jones, Casey Donnelly, Mike Donnelly, Charles Maley, Robert Bates and Kim Brenz.
Connie was born on November 13, 1945 to Charlie Willis and Dollie Imojean (Jackson) Suter in Decatur, Texas. She was united in marriage to Elvin “Casey” Chester Jones on July 6, 1962 in Decatur. Connie loved taking care of her family. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Willis Suter.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 51 years, Elvin “Casey” Jones of New Castle; her son, Curtis Glen Jones of Alvord; her daughter, Lisa Jones Donnelly of Granbury; her sisters, Glenda Perkins of Decatur and Beverly Coffee of Decatur; her mother, Jean Suter of Decatur; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
