Clyde Williams

Paradise ~ Clyde Weldon Williams, 72, went to be with our Lord Sunday, November 25, 2018, in Paradise.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday, November 30, 2018, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel Decatur with burial in Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-7 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

James Golaz will officiate.

Clyde was born on December 11, 1945, to Clyde and Clara (Young) Williams in Seminole, Texas. He was united in marriage to Rita Gayle Benton on October 15, 1966, in Paradise. Clyde worked as an oilfield worker in the Petroleum production. He was a member of the Assembly of God Church. Clyde was an outdoorsman he loved hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Billy Ray Williams II.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 52 years, Rita Williams of Paradise; his sons, Clyde Weldon Williams Jr. and wife Angie of Seneca, Missouri, Billy Williams and wife Stacy of Decatur; his daughter, Melissa Osborn and husband Greg of Boyd; his grandchildren, Ashley & husband Scott, Tiffany & husband Brandon, Samantha & husband Draven, Bradley, Bailee, Riley, Harper; his great grandchildren, Emily, Jaryd, Clyde Weston, and Joshua; a host of cousins and friends.
