AURORA -- Clyde E. Idell, 83, a welder retired from Star Tank went to be with our Lord on Saturday, May 16, 2009 in Ft. Worth.
Funeral: 3 p.m. Tuesday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Burial: Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends 7-8 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Rev. James Hurst will officiate, Assisted by :Dennis Richardson Pallbearers: Mike Romine, Larry Spraberry, Jerry Taylor, Jimmy York, Josh Barrow, and Kenneth Schriner. Honorary pallbearer: Jerry Brammer.
Clyde was born on June 14, 1925, the son of William Aaron and Rosa Idell, in Aurora. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Jaunita Idell; great grandson, John Patrick Kelly; brothers, Edgar, Marvin, Harold, and Ralph; and sister, Donnie. Clyde served his country proudly by serving in the U.S. Marines where is was a Corporal in the MP's.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are: daughter, Tresia Kelly and husband Dan, Sr. of Aurora; grandchildren: Toni Kelly-Richardson and husband Dennis of Aurora, Dan Kelly, Jr. and wife Brandy of Aurora; great grandchildren: Melissa, Lauren, Zachary, Kaitlynn, Catherine, Nicholas, Isabella, William, Lillian, and Emma.
