SPRINGTOWN -- Cletus A. Atkinson, 81, a retired Federal Aviation Agency secretary, died Monday, Mar. 3, 2008 in Tyler.
Funeral service: 1 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2008 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel, Visitation: 11 a.m. Friday.
Cletus was born Sept. 7, 1926 in Paradise, TX to William and Litha Stinett Stevens. She was a Paradise High School graduate. Cletus married Warren Thomas Atkinson Jan. 14, 1946 in Bowie. He preceded her on death Nov. 26, 1982. She was also preceded in death by 5 sisters and 2 brothers.
Left behind to cherish her memory is her sons, Zollie Atkinson and wife Margaret of Spring and Anthony Atkinson and wife Tammy of Laneville; 5 grandchildren, Melissa, Kristin, Shane, Derick and Charlotte; 13 great grandchildren; and sisters, Cleo Moss of Ft. Worth, Nora West of Nevada and Thelma Woods of Ft. Worth.
