Clarice Houston Andrade passed from this earth Thursday, July 16th, 2026 in Ft. Worth, Texas.

Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 1st at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Clarice was born November 2nd, 1937 to Leonard and Vereda (Gaither) Houston in Littlefield, Texas. She was united in marriage December 2nd, 1980 to Lawrence Andrade in Wailua, Kauai, Hawaii. Clarice worked for many years in Kauai, Hawaii at Coco Palms Plantation as Executive Housekeeper, eventually retiring from the Sheraton Corporation. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Vereda Houston; her husband, Lawrence Andrade; and daughter, Mary Jane (Walker) Jernigan.

Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Bruce Freeby and wife Susan of Rhome; her grandchildren, Chrystal Rankin and husband Shane, Jacob Freeby, Mark Freeby, and Joshua Jernigan, Timothy Scott and wife Denise, and Thomas Scott and wife Amanda; her great-grandchildren, Tabitha Heinz, Colton Janvrin, Jacqueline Freeby, and Luke Freeby; her brother, Jerry D. Houston of Littleton, Colorado; her sister, Shirley Simpson of Odessa; extended family and a host of friends.
