Fort Worth ~ Clara Mae Moore, 86, a retired seamstress, went to be with our Lord Thursday, July 31, 2014 in Fort Worth.
Graveside service is 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 4, 2014 at Cottondale Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Sunday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pastor Clyde Hess will officiate.
Clara was born on July 13, 1928 to Emmitt and America (Clark) Hess in Dante, Virginia. She was united in marriage to C.P. Moore in Fort Worth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; 4 brothers; 1 sister; and her grandson, Mark Hughes.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Shirley Shields and husband Jerry of Paradise, Linda Simpson and husband Robert of Haslet, and Sharon Davis of Haltom City; her sons, Don Hughes and wife Mary of Springtown, Jerry Hughes and wife Jo Ann of Rhome, Wayne Hughes and wife Madelyn of Boyd, and Ricky Hughes of Denton; 14 grandchildren; numerous great grand children and great-great grand children; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
