Clara F. Maxwell, 93, went to be with our Lord on Monday, June 2, 2008.
Funeral services are 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 4th at the Coker-Hawkins Chapel with burial following at Greenwood Cemetery. The Reverend Johnny Irish will officiate. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Clara was born on March 1, 1915, in Era, Texas to John Hamilton and Lucy Elizabeth (Gaines) Gentry. She married Charlie M. Maxwell on December 25, 1934, in Denton, Texas, and preceded her in death after 50 years of marriage. She was a long time employee of Wise County as bookkeeper in the auditor
