Cheryl Polley 81, of Decatur went to be with her Lord Wednesday, May 13th, 2026.

Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Thursday, May 21st at Hawkins Funeral Home Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Cheryl was born October 4th, 1944 to Clarence and Mary (Eredini) Jennings in Dallas, Texas. She proudly served the Army & Air Force Exchange Service as a Procurement Officer for many years. Cheryl was a beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father Clarence Jennings, mother Mary Eredini and step-father Johnnie Eredini; husband, Gerald Polley; and her brother, Jimmy Eredini.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sisters, Diane Mauck and husband Paul, Vicki McGraw and husband Jeff; her sons, Brent Polley and wife Kristi, Clint Polley and wife Amy; grandsons Seth and wife Shelby, their daughter Everleigh, Brandon, Caleb and wife Dani, Topher, Jacob and wife Sarah; granddaughter Lily; many beloved nieces and nephews, extended family and a host of friends.
