Charlotte Ann Wood

Charlotte Ann Wood, 82, of Decatur passed from this earth Tuesday, May 5th, 2026 surrounded by loved ones.

Charlotte was born February 23rd, 1944 to William Duval and Sarah (Elmore) Roberts in Lawrenceville, Virginia. She was united in marriage November 29th, 1996 to Thomas Franklin Wood in Wise County, Texas. Charlotte was a hairdresser for many years, as well as a birdwatcher and lover of horses. She loved being outdoors and gardening among many other things. Charlotte was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Sarah Roberts.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Thomas Wood; her son, Shawn Wood; her grandsons, Colton and Maverick Wood; extend family and a host of friends.
