BOYD -- Charlie Sloan, 41, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2008 in Decatur.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Frank Sizemore will officiate.
Charlie worked for Bobcat as a pump truck operator.
He was born on Aug. 12, 1966 in Seagraves, Texas, the son of C.S. and Velma (Loper) Sloan. He was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors: wife, Debra Johnson Sloan of Boyd; sons, Steven Foreman of Boyd and Clayton Johnson of New York; mother, Velma Foreman of Boyd; brother, Larry D. Sloan of Boyd; sisters, Sharon Sizemore and husband Moe of Boyd, and Raynea Kirkland of Austin; nieces, Kimberly Arnold and Stephanie Jones; nephew, Patrick Mullins.
