Charlie Ann Mcglaun

Funeral service is 10 a.m. Saturday, February 28th at Newark Church of Christ. Interment will be at 2 p.m. in the Meredith Camp Grounds Cemetery in Athens, Texas. Mike Boaldin will officiate both services.

Pallbearers are Kelly Tibbels, Cole Spann, Ed Jolley, Jeff Bue, Tom Long, and Jerry Lee.

Ann was born October 11, 1930 in Detroit, Texas to Charlie L. and Annie Stanley. She was adventurous and moved to Belize, Central America where she had a travel business. She loved to make flower arrangements and jewelry, and she taught vocational courses in flower arranging and computer science at Tarrant County Junior College at the age of 75. She was a member of the Newark Church of Christ.

Left behind to cherish her memory are daughters, Shelley McGlaun, Melissa Stratton of Dallas, Holly Hayworth of Ponder; son, Casey McGlaun and wife, Liz of Lone Camp, Texas; six grandchildren, Clarke Lewis , Carly, Caitlin, and Chloe McGlaun, Cole Spann, Caly Hayworth; great granddaughter, Riley Grace Lewis; and sister, Linda Stanley of Bonham.

Ann is preceded in death by her brothers, Earl, Raymond and Carl Stanley.
