Rhome ~ Charles C. "Chuck" Skinner, 75, of Rhome went to be with his Lord Friday, October 23, 2015 in Rhome, Texas.
Memorial service 11:15 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2015 at DFW National Cemetery in Dallas.
John Redfearn will officiate.
Chuck was born July 9, 1940 to J.C. and Bess (Johnson) Skinner in Slidell, Texas. He proudly served his country in 1976 retired from the United States Navy after 20 years of service. He married his wife Virginia on September 27, 1974 in Weatherford, Texas. They are both members of Community Church in Decatur, Texas.
Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Virginia Skinner of Rhome; son, Joe Skinner of Fort Worth; daughter, Tani Gearin and husband Kevin of New Mexico; 3 sisters, Eva Collins, Mary Waggoner, and Betty Waggoner; 2 brothers, Billy and Bobby Waggoner; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother, George Waggoner.
