BOYD -- Charles "Buster" E. White,72, a retired locksmith at UTA, went to be with our Lord, Sunday, July 12, 2009 at his home in Boyd.
Funeral: 10:30 AM Thursday at Trinity Baptist Church in Boyd. Burial: Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.
Rev. Mark Autry will officiate. Pall bearers: Drue Reeves, Kyle Zacharias, Todd Matlock, Stewart Edwards, Tommy Epperson, and Matt Edwards. Honorary Pallbearers: Jimmy Weaver, Jeff White, and Henry Hutchieson. Buster was born the son of Orland Kermit Sr. and Agnes (Hutchieson) White in Fort Worth. He served his country proudly by serving in the U.S. Navy. He was a Mason and a Shriner. Buster grew up in the Masonic Home in Fort Worth. He was a member of the Trinity Baptist Church in Boyd.
Buster was preceded in death by: Parents, sister, Shirley Renshaw, 2 nephews and one niece.
Those left behind to cherish his memory : wife of 43 years, Lucy, of Boyd; Son: Joe Carroll and wife Christina of Fort Worth; Daughter: Shari Dempsey and husband William of Valley Veiw; Brother: Orland Kermit White and wife Charlotte of Aledo; Sisters: Myra Adams and husband Red of Sherman, Sharon Karger of Duncanville, Linda Criswell and husband Gary of Arlington, Cynthia Nell Ward and husband William of Sherman; Numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
