Charles Thomas Dodds

Charles Thomas Dodds, 74, of Decatur went to be with his Lord Saturday, January 17, 2026.

Charles was born September 17, 1951 to Cecil and Valeria Dodds in Dallas, Texas. He was united in marriage October 27, 1983 to Janet Marie Fox in Dallas, Texas. Charles was a purchasing agent for a Petroleum Company for many years before retirement. He was a member of First Baptist Church, a leader in the Boy Scouts of America and enjoyed fishing. Charles was a beloved husband and friend to many, all who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Valeria Dodds.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of over 42 years, Janet Doods of Decatur; extended family and a host of friends.
