Paradise ~ Charles Bryan Cobb, Jr., 60, of Paradise went to be with his Lord Monday, June 30, 2014 in Decatur, Texas.
Graveside service is 10:00 a.m. Thursday at Sweetwater Cemetery with Pastor Jack Skidmore officiating. Family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Charles was born June 7, 1954 in Haskell, Texas to Charles Bryan Cobb, Sr. and Mary Jo Ann Page. He married Donna Vaughan on August 13, 1993 in Decatur, Texas. He enjoyed riding horses, showing cattle, and woodworking. He was known for smoking briskets and sausage as well as making his own barbeque sauce.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 20 years, Donna Cobb of Paradise; sons, Jason Cobb and wife Lana of Springtown and Caleb Page and wife Lindsay of Junction City, Kansas; 3 daughters, Bethany Cobb of Decatur, Krystal Whited and husband Randy of Aurora, and Samantha Jo Cobb of Paradise; 5 grandchildren, Hailee, Hannah, Chelsea, Kadince, and Kabella; mother, Mary Jo Ann Page and husband Phillip of Springtown; brother, Billy Cobb and wife Kim of Bridgeport; nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
