Cecil was born on April 1, 1924, the son of William Henry and Berta (Patton) Stracener in Pampa, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.
Left behind to cherish his memory is: wife, Betty Stracener of Bridgeport; sons: Waylon Stracener and wife Michelle of Rogers, Arkansas, Vince Stracener and wife Linda of St. Thomas, Randal Webb and wife Marriwin of Amarillo; daughter, Gail Webb of Amarillo; 5 grandchildren; brothers, Wade Stracener and wife Jean of Clinton, Iowa, Roy Stracener and wife Annie of Sacramento, California; sister, Billie Peddy and husband Willis of Mineral Wells; numerous neices and nephews.
