Decatur: Catherine Angeline "Sister" Lawson, 105, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord, Thursday, December 8, 2011 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Saturday at Oaklawn Cemetery with Reverend Roy Spore officiating.
Catherine was born July 2, 1906 in Fort Worth, Texas to William J. and Leona Kindred (Beason). She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Decatur.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Olmer Ray Lawson and son, Lee Ray Lawson.
Left behind to cherish her memory are two grandsons, David R. Lawson of Denton and Ray M. "Mac" Lawson of Dallas; three great grandchildren, McKinley Ann, Madelyne McFadden, and Miles James Lawson all of Dallas.
