Catherine was born on March 13, 1953 to Bobby and Trudy (Young) Pierce in Arlington, Texas. She was united in marriage to Tommy Fortune on February 8, 1973 in Fort Worth.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bobby Pierce.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 41 years, Tommy E. Fortune of Boyd; her daughter, Elonda Fortune of Arnold, North Dakota, her grandchildren, D.J. Brooks and Tre Fortune; her brother, Ray Pierce of Fort Worth; her sister, Elonda Fay Patterson of Justin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
