Carolyn Sue "Mimi" Grady

Runaway Bay~ Carolyn Sue “Mimi” Grady, 70, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, September 23, 2021 in Decatur.

Memorial Service will be held Friday, October 1st, 2021 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Reception to follow after the service beginning at 3:30 p.m. at Christ Fellowship Church 1301 North Main Street Lake Bridgeport, Texas 76426.

Rev. Todd Blair will officiate.

Carolyn was born on January 23, 1951 to Herman Qued “Cowboy” and Ruth (Fellers) Weatherly in Bridgeport, Texas. She was a retired RN and worked for many years at Harris Hospital in Fort Worth. Carolyn was a member at Christ Fellowship Church in Lake Bridgeport.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sister, Debra Kay Weatherly.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons; Kevin Loraus and wife Jenny of Runaway Bay and David Loraus and wife Michelle of Lake Worth; her grandchildren, Justin and Jacob Loraus, Troy, Hunter, and Jason Loraus; her great-grandchildren, Ledger and Miles Loraus; her brother, Tommy Weatherly and wife Melba of Paradise; her sister, Beverly Deaton and husband Mike of Lake Bridgeport; numerous nieces and nephews and extended family members and a host of friends.
