Newark ~ Carol Burnett Wirtz, 68, a caregiver, went to be with our Lord Sunday, December 21, 2014 in Newark.
A memorial service is 1 p.m. Saturday, January 24, 2015, at Aurora Baptist Church.
Carol was born on December 25, 1945 to George and Elfrieda (vonLuternau) Burnett in Fort Worth, Texas. She was united in marriage to Russell Wirtz on March 25, 1972 in North Richland Hills. Carol was a caregiver and homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Russell; her son, Russell E. Wirtz; her brothers, David Burnett and Robert Burnett.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Deborah Snipes and husband Brian of Robinson, Texas and Christina West and husband Keith of Waxahachie; her grandchildren, Amber, Rose, Sarah, Shannon, Joshua, and Jared; her great grandchildren, Elijah and Isaiah; her brother, George Amos Burnett and wife Tammy of Porter, Texas; her sister, Kaye Landingham of Burleson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
