Bridgeport ~ Carly Elizabeth Boyd, 29, a loan officer, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, October 20, 2015 in Haltom City.
Memorial service is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Cates Street Church of Christ. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Bro. Scott Strothers will officiate.
Carly was born on June 27, 1986 to Darrell and Angie (Prince) Boyd in Dallas, Texas. She graduated from Bridgeport High School then went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in economics at University of North Texas. Carly and her little dog Max were devoted fans of the New England Patriots. She was a volunteer and mentor for the Big Sisters Program.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her parents, Angie and Darrell Boyd of Bridgeport; her brother, Joshua Boyd of Denton; her sister, Emily Boyd of Fort Worth; her grandparents, Sandra Kay and AZ Smith of Bridgeport; her grandfather, Kenneth Prince of Franklin, Tennessee; her grandparents, Sonny and Barbara Wilson of Farmers Branch; her aunts, Sandra Prince and Kristin Pierce; her cousin, Sara Brown; her dog Max; and her cat Milo; other family members and a host of friends.
