Callen was born on November 7, 2005 to Michael and Tasha Little in Denton, Texas. He grew up on the Waggoner and Sauder Ranch in Decatur. Callen inherited the work ethic and humility exhibited by his family for generations. At age of nine, Callen was working full days alongside his Father, Grandfather, and Uncle tending to the twelve thousand acre ranch. In addition to his prodigious work ethic, Callen had a striking interest in the scriptures from a young age. He would often quote bible verses to his Mother and Father, who were rightfully proud of their exceptional child. Callen endeavored to become the same type of master outdoorsman that his father has always been, and he was well on his way. He also took on his Father’s affable mannerisms and kindness along with his Mother’s strength and courage. In the short time that Callen blessed us with his presence in this world, he made an indelible impact on everyone around him. As we move forward, we will always remember Callen and try to embody the goodness he represented.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his parents, Michael and Tasha Little of Decatur; sister, Blayne Little; grandparents, Jim Bob and Christy Little of Decatur, D’Ann Little of Decatur, and Bob and Paula Woisard of Alvord; great grandparents, Maxine Little of Decatur, Stanley and Janice Pitts of Decatur, Eleanor Woisard of Lewisville, and G.W. and Ava Brummell of Pittsburg, Texas, and a host of friends.
