Decatur: Bula M. Walker Robinson, 86, went to be with our Lord, Wednesday, January 29, 2014 in Decatur, Texas.
Graveside service is 3 p.m. Monday, February 3rd at Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 1 with Lee Davis officiating. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Kaylen Cryer, Crindon Cryer, William Cryer, Larry Johnson, David Kinsey, and John Dering.
Bula was born May 26, 1927 in Bridgeport, Texas to George Washington and Josie Deloris (Parsons) Boring. She was united in marriage to J. W. Walker on February 13, 1945 in Decatur. Bula was a member of the Baptist Church.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her son, James Leon Walker of Florence, Arizona; sister, Aleita Bell Houchens of Decatur; two grandsons, James Walker and wife, Nacina and Kelvin Cockerham and wife, Brenda both of Decatur; granddaughter, Debbie Roy of Arkansas; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
