Brenda Kay Burns

Brenda Kay Burns, 76, of Decatur, went to be with our Lord on Friday, November 21, 2025, in Decatur.

Brenda was born July 5, 1949, in Fort Worth, Texas to Ralph Martin and Dorothy (Barnard) Martin. She married John Burns on August 13, 2002, in Decatur, Texas. Brenda enjoyed reading and spending time with family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

Brenda is preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Dorothy Martin.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters Cecilia Partin and Tammy Duplanty and husband Gary; her sons Carey Price and Jimmy Price and wife Missy; grandchildren, Michael, Cierra, Cheyenne, Dakota, Aisley, Colby, Austin, Blake, and Jennifer; great grandchildren, Laycea, Brynlee, Thomas, Braylon, Tinsley, Paislee and Blaise; her brothers Randy Martin of Wisconsin, and Mike Martin of Boyd and numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
