Bonnie Jean Rosson

Bonnie Jean Rosson, 88, passed from this earth Wednesday, June 24, 2026 in Decatur, Texas.

Bonnie was born April 14, 1938 to Wallace and Beatrice (Quarles) Burton in Durant, Oklahoma. Bonnie completed college and graduated to become a Registered Nurse where she worked for a time at the Decatur Community Hospital. She was united in marriage May 5, 1978 to Jerry Dale Rosson in Plano, Texas, married for over 46 years. Bonnie was a beloved mother and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Beatrice Burton.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Cheryle Cornell and husband Bobby and Joan Bennett of Boyd; extended family and a host of friends.
