Chico ~ Bobbie Lucille Morris, 91, went to be with our Lord Friday, October 17, 2025 in Chico.
Funeral Service is 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 22nd, at Morris Memorial Methodist Church in Chico with burial at Cumby Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Bobbie was born on October 17, 1934 to William Daniel and Attie (Rogers) Martin in Alvord. She was united in marriage to Arlon Rannie Morris on February 7, 1953 in Fort Worth. Bobbie was a warm-hearted homemaker and a loving farmer’s wife. For many years, she was an active and joyful member of Morris Memorial Methodist Church and 50-year member of the Order of Eastern Star #433 in Chico, where she created lasting friendships and shared her cheerful spirit with everyone around her. She was a deeply loved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend to so many. Her absence will be profoundly felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and she will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Arlon Rannie Morris; her grandson, John Leslie Morris; and her siblings, Dan Martin, Ellen Fahnestock, Fred Martin, Joyce Jackson, and Rose Mary McCoy.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Audie Morris and his wife Lynn of Chico; her daughters, Bettie German and her husband Mark and Peggy Black and her husband Russell both of Chico; 5 grandchildren, April Cowling and her husband Corey, Taylor German and his wife Meghan, Morgan German, Baiden Black and his wife Scout, and Skylar Black and his wife Shelley; 6 great-grandchildren, John, Parker, Carson, Campbell, Marley, and Miley; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and a host of friends.
