Bobbie Gay Colvin

Aurora- Bobbie Gay Colvin, 67, went to be with our Lord Monday, April 6th, in Decatur.

Funeral Service is at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 11th, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd, with burial at Aurora Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Bobby Greenwood, Bobby Moore, Kyle Walker, Eric Evans, Reedie Lea, and Billy Lucas.

Bobbie was born on April 28, 1958, to Robert Vernon and Brenda Carol (Smith) Gregory in San Antonio. Bobbie was united in marriage to Max Colvin. Bobbie was a devoted homemaker who loved her husband and two daughters. She loved her adorable little dog just as much over the years. Bobbie cherished time spent with her family. She was proud of her children and 6 grandchildren. Additionally, she loved the joy of dining out, always put a smile on her face to have a great meal. Bobbie enjoyed the simple things in life with her family, little dog, good food, and her grandchildren. She loved the small things that would make her smile and laugh. Bobbie was a beloved daughter, mother, grandmother, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Vernon Gregory; her step-father, Bobby Graves; her husband, Max Colvin; her grandmother, Sally Hall; and her brother, Robert Guy Gregory.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her mother, Brenda Carol Graves; her daughters, Julie Daniel of Arlington, and Sheri Colvin of North Richland Hills; her sisters, Sally Greenwood and Brenda Lee Moore; her grandchildren: Sadie Garcia, Abigail Garcia, Braylee Jordan, Kaydyn Boyle, Dakota Colvin, and Haylie Putnam; other relatives and host of friends.
