Bobbie was born on November 10, 1932 to Jimmie and Clyde (Dewberry) Bailey in Axtell, Texas. He served his country in the U.S. Air Force. Bobbie received two medals while in the Air Force, the National Defense Service and Good Conduct.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are, his son Bobbie Bailey, Jr. of Fort Worth; his daughter Lois Baughman and husband Franklin of Emory; 4 grandchildren, Carri, Kenny, Michelle, and Jennifer; 10 great-grandchildren.
