Decatur ~ Billy Garrison, 85, a car salesman, went to be with our Lord Sunday, August 3, 2014 in Decatur.
Graveside service is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 6, 2014 in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Rev. Ken May will officiate.
Billy was born on March 16, 1929 to Jessie and Mary (Brown) Garrison in Decatur, Texas. He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Stem on July 1, 1946 in Decatur. Billy retired after more than 20 years as a car salesman. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur. Billy enjoyed racing quarter horses after his retirement.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Barbara Ann Stem.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his son, Richard Garrison and wife DeLona of Decatur; his grandchildren, Curren Wicker and husband Brandt of Decatur and Ryan Brown and husband Asnley of Decatur ; his great grandchildren, Camden, Carson, Caylen, Kampbell, Kortlen, and Kynlie; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
