Arlington ~ Billy Omer Bilderback, 72, a school administrator, went to be with our Lord Monday, July 14, 2014 in Mansfield.
Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends on Wednesday at 12:00 p.m., one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
Rev. Gerre Joiner will officiate. Pallbearers include Michael Bilderback, Dr. John A. Winder, Terry Kenton Wood, Steven Joslin, Jay Davidson and Dwight Elmore. Honorary pallbearers are Terry Wood, Philip Holt, Jerry Mara, Mack Cope, Larry Wadsworth and Don Porter.
Billy was born on September 7, 1941 to Desota O’dell and Ola Opal (Peebles) Bilderback in Weston, Texas. He was united in marriage to Sharon Katleen Winder on September 7, 1963 in Decatur. Billy retired from Arlington ISD after 20 years of service. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Sharon Bilderback of Arlington; his sons, Timothy Bryan Bilderback of Arlington and Michael Billy Bilderback of Plano; his grandson, Johnathan Logan of Plano; and a host of friends.
