Bridgeport ~ Betty Lou Wright, 83, a housewife, went to be with our Lord Friday, March 9, 2018 in Bridgeport.

Graveside Service is 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2018 at West Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Sam Caldwell will officiate.

Betty was born on June 2, 1934 to Ozelle Mann in Bridgeport, Texas. She was united in marriage to Ernest Alvin Wright on June 6, 1952 in Rhome.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 66 years, Ernest Wright of Bridgeport; her sons, George Wright and friend Julie Bakke of Denton, Jimmy Wright and wife Jean of Lufkin; her Grandchilden, Chris Wright, Taya Andresen and husband Josh of Bowie; Great Grandchildren, Rachael Wright of Rowlette, Shauna Marshall and husband Thane of Scurry, Zac Kimbrall of Bridgeport; Great Great Grandchildren, Riley and Brantley; her brother James Brazier and wife Debbie of Bridgeport; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
